Whitelist MySQL IPs

If you are having trouble connecting to your MySQL database, then your hosting provider may be blocking connections from CodeGuard. To ensure that connections from CodeGuard are not blocked, please contact your hosting provider and ask them to whitelist the following IP addresses.

The process for doing this will vary for different hosting providers, so you may need to consult their support documentation for more specific instructions. If your host control panel has the 'Remote MySQL option', the IP addresses can be whitelisted there.

Keep in mind that some hosting providers disallow remote MySQL for shared hosting accounts - so check with them if you're having trouble connecting.

Below are the IP addresses you will need to allow access to your database:

  • 54.236.233.46
  • 54.236.233.28
  • 54.174.91.34
  • 54.174.153.212
  • 54.174.115.171

If your database was added on or before January 1, 2014, you will also need to whitelist the following IP addresses:

  • 184.72.217.230
  • 184.72.217.227

For more information on whitelisting, please take a look at this video tutorial.
